Huge Congratulations to St. Mary’s Junior A Football Team who claimed the Go Games South Divison 2 crown on Tuesday afternoon. The Rathfarnham boys raced ahead scoring the first 1-3 of the game, but three quick goals from Drimnagh Castle put them in the driving seat. However the Grange Road team stormed back into the game and a brilliant second half performance ensured they won in the end. Man of the match on the day was Séan O’Brien.
Previous wins over Divine Word, Scoil San Treasa, Knocklyon and a hard fought victory over St. Michael’s ensured St. Mary’s clinched the trophy. Well done to all the boys involved on a great season and fantastic achievement.
