St. Mary’s B.N.S. Parents’ Association
As a parent or guardian of a boy enrolled at St. Mary’s B.N.S., we are delighted to welcome you as a member of the Parents’ Association (P.A.).
The Parents’ Association Committee (P.A.C.) meets approximately every 6-8 weeks in the school. Meetings are generally held on Tuesday evenings at 8.30pm, with dates and reminders shared with parents and guardians through WhatsApp communication. All parents and guardians are very welcome to attend P.A.C. meetings.
The Parents’ Association is managed by elected officers, who are appointed at the first P.A.C. meeting following the Annual General Meeting (A.G.M.) in October. Each elected officer serves a three-year term.

The Role of the Parents’ Association
The P.A. acts as a link between parents and guardians, the Board of Management and the school Principal, working together for the benefit of all the boys in St. Mary’s B.N.S.
The P.A. manages voluntary contributions to the school and organises a variety of fundraising events and activities throughout the school year.
Funds raised by the P.A. are used to support the school by helping to provide educational equipment, resources and activities, as well as contributing towards events and experiences for the boys.
We are very grateful for the continued support of parents and guardians. Whether you attend a meeting, volunteer at an event, take part in fundraising or simply lend your support, every contribution helps to make a difference to our school community.
Some of the major P.A. events include:
• First Communion Celebration – a celebration for the boys, their parents/guardians and families following the ceremony.
• Confirmation Celebration – a celebration for the boys, their parents/guardians and families following the ceremony.
• Grandparents’ Day
• Annual Sports Day
• Annual Sponsored Walk
• School Concert/Production
