Well done to the boys from St. Mary’s who represented their school and their county so well at the annual Friendship Games in Belfast on Friday. It was a massive privilege to play for Dublin and the boys had a fantastic day out.
There were 6 boys from the school playing handball against boys from Belfast. They played some great games against some very good opponents.
There were also three boys from the school representing Dublin on the hurling team in the Friendship Games. They had a fantastic victory over their Antrim counterparts and thoroughly enjoyed their day hurling for Dublin.
As part of the trip the boys were brought on a tour around Belfast City and were treated to dinner in the Devenish Restaurant in Belfast. A great day was had by everyone and well done to all involved.
