On the 30th of November, St. Mary’s BNS brought a team of 73 boys to the Terenure Cross Country races. We had boys from 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th class representing the school. All the boys had been training hard over the last few weeks, under the stewardship of Ms. Dunne and Mr. Rooney.
The boys had the tough task of defending their title of overall boys winners from 2017. They didn’t disappoint this time either. We came home with a total of 11 medals and again they won overall boys winners for the 2nd year in a row. Congratulations to all the boys that took part, not only in the race, but also the boys that tried out.
Next up will be the St. Enda’s Park Cross Country race for 5th and 6th class.
