We had 21 boys competing in this years Cross Country race in St. Enda’s Park. The boys have been training over the last number of weeks and unfortunately it had to be put back due to weather.
Thankfully it went ahead at the second time of asking, with schools from all over Dublin competing. In total there were well over 200 boys running.
The conditions only added to the difficulty of the 2km race for the boys, but they performed to an extremely high standard.
We had an excellent performance from Ryan that finished in 3rd place overall. The boys also finished second in the team event with Ronan, Alex and Tom completing our top four finishers.
Very well done to everyone involved. A big thanks to Ms. Quirke and Ms. Dunne for their help with the coaching.
