An excellent performance by the St. Mary’s Senior Hurling Team saw them win the South Dublin Winter Hurling Tournament last month. After a great start St. Mary’s had built up a commanding half time lead, however Scoil San Treasa came roaring back into the game in the second half , but the Rathfarnham men managed to hold on to their lead as the final whistle blew to win a hard fought game by just one point. Captain Jim Kennedy collected the cup after the game. Well done to all the boys involved and the management team of Mr. O’Neill, Mr. Hughes and Mr. Rooney.
