We loved making pancakes together in room 24!
On Pancake Tuesday we did lots of learning all about Shrove Tuesday. We learnt how some other countries celebrate the day too.
Do you know-
- In Iceland – They have salted meats and peas and call the day ‘Bursting Day’.
- In Sweden – They have pastries called Semla and call the day ‘Fat Tuesday’.
- In Estonia – They have Pea Soup and Cream cakes.
