ICT Systems Administrator Role

The Board of Management of St Mary’s BNS are inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for the newly created role of ICT Systems Administrator.
In recent years St Mary’s have invested significantly in ICT resources. Comparatively speaking we rank very high in terms of our ICT facilities and environment. We are very proud of the work that has been done to date and we are determined to maintain the high standards which have been established in the school.
This will be a part-time position. The successful candidate will be an independent contractor and they will invoice the Board of Management monthly for work completed on the basis of an hourly rate. We are supplying the following guidelines for the role:
• The desired skills and experience are outlined in Appendix 1
• The workload is estimated at approximately 5 hours per week during term time
• We estimate that some out of term work will be required for significant project work, e.g. the replacement of equipment in the computer room
• 2 core times will be identified and the successful candidate must be on-site and available to teachers during those times, e.g. 10am to 11am on Monday and Wednesday
• It may not be necessary to be present every day and it may be practical to complete more than 1 hours work on some days
• We expect the successful candidate to be flexible to the schools needs toward the delivery of services
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement of ICT equipment
