Partnerships
We are very lucky to have such amazing clubs, schools and organisations in our area. We have worked hard to develop good relationships with them all and hope to build on these in the coming years.
Ballyboden St Enda’s – Seán Óg coaches boys hurling and football from 1st-3rd class throughout the year. Many of our boys play for Ballyboden St. Enda’s.
Terenure College – Our boys participate in the Terenure Cross Country race annually. We also compete in the Terenure Primary Schools Football blitz every June. Many of our past pupils returned to St. Mary’s to coach rugby during Active Schools Week.
Paul McGinley – Past pupil Paul visits the school to share insights and experiences with the boys about his life in sport.
Bernadette Peat – We are very fortunate that fitness guru Bernadette of BB Fitness, Marlay Park, kindly put the boys and teachers through their paces with her brilliant workouts during ASW.
Parks – We are fortunate to have two incredible amenities on our doorstep. All our GAA teams play and train in St. Enda’s Park, many classes visit the Pearse Museum and explore the gardens. Classes frequently go to Rathfarnham Castle Park on walks, to use the playground, attend art exhibitions and historic tours of the castle.
