It has been 40 years since St Mary’s has moved from Loreto. We had a big celebration and made a huge 40 out of every student in the school. We had a drone go up and take a photo of it from a birds eye view. We had a tionól the next day and 3rd class to 6th class sang a song from every year. 6th class sang Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990s). 5th class sang YMCA (1970s). 4th class sang Video killed the radio star (1980s). 3rd class sang Firework (2000s). Overall, St Mary’s had a fantastic 40th anniversary. After that we had a ceremonial mass for 40 years. That night everyone went back and had a small party at the school.
