St.Marys

St. Mary's is taking part in a Comenius project. This is an EU funded initiative which aims to encourage cooperation between pupils and teachers across Europe.
Our school will be linking up with three schools in Denmark, Wales and the Czech Republic . The initial meeting between representatives of all four schools was held recently in Horsens in Denmark to discuss the project and the various activities the pupils would be engaged in.
The theme is “Challenges and Changes” and the participating classes will share stories, podcasts, project work etc. In 2010-2011 the focus will be on environmental awareness, global warming, recycling and climate change.
